Website: https://autonomee.ai

We are the data controller for the personal data processed through this website under the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the German Telekommunikation-Telemedien-Datenschutz-Gesetz (TTDSG).

2. What Data We Collect

2.1 Website Analytics (Plausible)

We use Plausible Analytics, a privacy-focused analytics tool that we self-host on our own servers. Plausible:

  • Does not use cookies
  • Does not collect personal data
  • Does not track individual visitors
  • Does not use fingerprinting
  • Is fully compliant with GDPR, CCPA, and PECR without requiring consent

Data collected is limited to: page URL, referrer, browser type, operating system, device type, and country (derived from anonymized IP — the IP address is never stored).

Legal basis: Legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR) — understanding aggregate website usage without identifying individuals.

2.2 Server Logs

Our hosting provider (Cloudways / DigitalOcean) automatically collects standard server access logs, which may include:

  • IP address
  • Date and time of access
  • Requested URL
  • HTTP status code
  • Browser user agent

Server logs are retained for up to 30 days for security and troubleshooting purposes, then automatically deleted.

Legal basis: Legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR) — maintaining website security and availability.

2.3 Cloudflare DNS

We use Cloudflare for DNS resolution. Cloudflare may process your IP address to route your request to our server. Cloudflare’s privacy policy applies: https://www.cloudflare.com/privacypolicy/

Legal basis: Legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR) — ensuring reliable and secure DNS resolution.

2.4 Embedded Content and External Links

Our website contains links to external services:

When you click these links, you leave our website and the respective platform’s privacy policy applies. We do not embed third-party content that tracks you while you browse our site.

2.5 Email Communication

If you contact us via email, we process your email address, name, and message content to respond to your inquiry.

Legal basis: Performance of a contract or pre-contractual measures (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR), or legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).

Retention: Email correspondence is retained for as long as necessary to handle your inquiry, and up to 3 years for business records, unless longer retention is required by law.

2.6 Newsletter (if applicable)

If you subscribe to our newsletter, we collect your email address and, optionally, your name. We use this data solely to send you our newsletter.

  • You can unsubscribe at any time using the link in every email
  • We do not share your email with third parties
  • We do not purchase email lists

Legal basis: Consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR). You may withdraw consent at any time.

2.7 Course and Community Membership

Payments and membership for the Autonomee community are processed through Skool (skool.com). We do not process payment information directly. Skool’s privacy policy governs how your payment and account data are handled: https://www.skool.com/legal/privacy

3. Cookies

We do not use marketing or tracking cookies.

The only cookies that may be set on this website are:

These are strictly necessary cookies that do not require consent under GDPR/TTDSG.
